Pet Application

Tenants must obtain written consent before keeping pets in a rental property.
To request consent, please complete the Standard Pet Request Form provided by NSW Fair Trading. You can download the form below:
How to Apply
- Download and complete Part A of the Pet Request Form.
- Email the completed form to your property manager.
- We will then forward your application to the landlord to review and complete Part B.
What Happens Next?
- The landlord will respond within 21 days of receiving your completed application.
- Consent can only be refused for specific reasons, such as:
- The property is unsuitable for the type of pet (e.g., a large dog in a small apartment).
- Keeping the pet would breach a law or by-law (e.g., strata rules).
- The pet poses a risk to the property or others.
- If consent is granted, the landlord may outline reasonable conditions, such as:
- Regular professional cleaning
- Damage repair clauses
- Limits on pet numbers or types
For more information or assistance with your application, please reach out to your property manager.
